Sacha Inchi is a native seed of the Peruvian Amazon, which was known to the natives thousands of years ago. After the conquest of the Chancas civilization, the Incas began to represent it in their ceramics, fruit of the knowledge inherited from the preceding tribe. This oilseed is also known as Inca peanuts.
Current scientific studies point to Sacha Inchi as the best oilseed for its composition and high nutritional quality:
• Sacha Inchi Oil has a high content of Omega 3 fatty acids (more than 48%), Omega 6 (36%) and Omega 9 (8%).
• Its digestibility is very high (more than 96%).
