Twin-Shaft Concrete Mixers can be used for the manufacture of concrete of any brand, but they are ideal for the manufacture of ready-mixed, road and heavy concrete. Two-shaft ELKON mixers consist of two horizontal shafts with a drive connected to them (motor-reducer). Depending on the volume of the mixer, 4 to 10 levers and blades are installed on each shaft.
Volume (dry / compacted): 1500/1000, 3000/2000, 4500/3000, 6000/4000, 6750/4500 l.
· Due to the compact design and application of innovative technologies, the ELKON twin-roll mixer is capable of producing concrete using aggregates with a fraction of 0-150 mm.
Due to the presence of two shafts and their counter-synchronized rotation, as well as the adjustment of the angles of the levers and blades of the mixer, mixing is carried out in three dimensions: radially around the shafts and around the perimeter of the mixer, excluding the factor of gravitational separation of components (expanded clay, fiber, etc.).
· The lubrication of bearings and shaft seals of the mixer shaft is carried out by an automatic centralized lubrication system, which has a double protection system.
· The mixer body is a welded steel structure. The material of the frontal armor is wear-resistant Hardox steel (HB = 600 according to Brinell). The armor is removable, and if necessary, replacement of worn parts is possible.
· The mixing levers are attached to the shafts by bolting.
· All mixing elements of the mixer (blades, scrapers, levers, etc.) are made of special nickel-chromium martensitic cast iron (nichard / Ni-Hard).
· The mixer has 2 inspection hatches and 1 galvanized service cover. For safety reasons, an emergency safety system is installed, which, in case of opening the service hatch, completely stops production.
· The mixer is equipped with a special platform for monitoring and maintenance.
· For any compounding (superhard, superheavy concrete) 80% of the uniformity of the concrete mix is achieved in the first 15 seconds of mixing, in the next 5 seconds - 95% of uniformity.
· It is completed with a system of forced water supply during kneading under pressure through nozzles located around the perimeter of the top cover of the mixer.
· It is completed with a hydraulic drive for opening the discharge gate of the mixer with an emergency mechanical lever for opening the gate.
