Protective coatings for reinforced concrete and hydraulic structures
The problem of protecting reinforced concrete structures, in particular pavements, becomes more and more urgent every year. Today, a huge number of reinforced concrete structures are in critical condition. In Russia and Kazakhstan, it is extremely difficult to even approximately estimate the annual damage from destruction. It should be taken into account that reinforced concrete structures for the most part either were not protected at all, or ineffective coatings were used. Reinforced concrete structures can be protected from carbonization and corrosion of the reinforcement by using coatings that protect against water, carbon dioxide, chlorides and other salts.
