Gypsum - In the production of hydrofluoric acid, waste products are formed - fluoride.
Neutral gypsum is anhydrous calcium sulfate (anhydride) obtained by neutralizing the residual sulfuric acid in fluoride gypsum with ground limestone while granulating the resulting product. Neutral gypsum is designed for the needs of the construction industry. The product is used as an additive to natural gypsum in the cement industry, for the production of gypsum binders, as part of dry building mixtures, including bulk floors. Unlike natural gypsum, the hardening process of anhydride cement is longer, and the resulting gypsum stone has a high strength that exceeds the strength of the best grades of natural gypsum.
