GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MAKS 412 is super-threshold microorganism control agent able to stabilize a wide range of supersaturated salt solutions and prevent biofilm growth.
PRINCIPLE USES
MAKS 412 is one of the principal antiscalant and excellent control of microbiological growth used by the membrane industry. For many years MAKS 412 has found application as an antiscalant, antifoulant and microorganism control agent in membrane systems using a wide selection of brackish, high salinity process, effluent feed-waters and landfill leaching.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
Includes broad spectrum, non-oxidizing microorganism control agent to prevent biofilm growth on membrane surfaces.
Highly effective antiscalant across a broad spectrum of waters
Inhibits common scales (Calcium carbonate/Sulphate, Calcium Phosphate, Barium/Strontium Sulphate, Silica, Iron/Manganese)
Effective at LSI up to + 3.0
Minimizes scaling and reduces the frequency of membrane cleaning
Will reduce, and usually replace the need for acid addition
Low dose rate gives a cost effective application
Compatible with all membrane types
Enables systems to work at enhanced rates of recovery
Extensive portfolio of toxicological and environmental data available.
