Refined cottonseed oil is obtained from cotton seeds of various species belonging to the malva family.
Cottonseed oil refers to fatty oils and consists of a mixture of various triglycerides, a certain amount of free fatty acids and non-fat substances. Gossypolum and its derivatives are also a component of crude cottonseed oil.
Depending on the processing method and quality indicators, refined cottonseed oil is divided into the following types: refined non-deodorized (premium, first and second grades) and refined deodorized (premium and first grades).
