Laurel Leaves, also known as Bay Leaves, is the original product of Turkey. Laurel leaves are grown on trees or large bushes throughout Turkey along the coastal areas from the Russian to the Syrian border.
Laurel has been used for medical, cosmetic and culinary purposes over the years. Their highly aromatic volatile oil content and bitter, spicy, pungent taste are popular in soups, stews, meat, fish, poultry and vegetable dishes
