TTC continuous asphalt plant are produced in mobile or fixed designs in the range of 80-400 tons / hour. It is designed for the production of high quality asphalt in continuous type operations. The Twinshaft continuous mixer system creates consistently well-mixed materials with high flexibility in terms of asphalt recipes. Another noteworthy feature is that the mixture is mixed outside of the dryer, that is, in a separate mixer.
The mixer acts as a buffer between the material to be mixed and the mixture. This operating system minimizes emission while the material components are fed directly to the continuous mixer. In this system, fast recipe changes can be made without stopping and starting times. This lowers operating costs and provides high efficiency. On the other hand, maintenance and repair spare parts costs are lower in continuous type asphalt plants.
